  • Security Focus: Emphasis on perimeter defenses like firewalls and intrusion detection systems to protect against external threats.

  • Bandwidth Usage: Typically predictable and can be managed with established bandwidth provisioning.

Examples:

  • A user accessing a website hosted on a company's server.

  • Data being uploaded or downloaded from cloud services.

  • API calls from external applications to internal services.
